Born in 1971, Lil\u2019 Magic Sam is one of the rare French musicians to have experienced Chicago Blues firsthand. A prodigious harmonica player discovered at a young age by Jacques Higelin, who invited him\u00a0 <\/span>on stages like\u00a0 <\/span>Mogador, the Casino de Paris, Bercy and many others..., he honed his skills with the greatest Blues legends like\u00a0 <\/span>John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells,\u00a0 <\/span>James Cotton and many others... As a teenager, he went to Chicago to perfect his blues education.\u00a0 <\/span>In the legendary clubs of Lincoln Avenue and Halsted Street \u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Taken under Luther Allison's wing, he joined his crew and toured for several years in Europe and the United States. In 1989, he took the stage at Montreux Jazz Festival<\/b> a special guest alongside B.B. King. His precociousness impresses the international press: Chicago Tribune<\/i>, Wisconsin State Journal<\/i>, Rock & Folk<\/i>, Soul Bag<\/i>, Guitarist Magazine<\/i>.<\/p>

His style? Raw, energetic Chicago electric blues, infused with 70s R&B, rock, soul, funk, and reggae. He draws openly on influences like Luther Allison, Freddie King, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Otis Redding, and Bob Marley to create a 100% sound.<\/p>

After a long hiatus, he returns in 2023 with the EP \u00abNo More Time\u00bb<\/b>, then in September 2025 with the album \u00abTired Out\u00bb<\/b> \u2014 13 original compositions entirely in English, produced by him from start to finish. He is featured in a 4-page interview. Blues Magazine #119<\/b> (Jan\/Feb 2026) and several Album \u00abreviews\u00bb (to be consulted on the\u00a0 <\/span>page PRESS<\/i> from the site).
